The only way to get something done about potholes, diesel spills and other road faults is to report them to the right people. NOT just your mates down the pub! The organisations who have the responsibility of maintaining our roads are not psychic so the only way they're gonna know about faults and spillages is if they're told about them.
That's where us, the general public, come in. Don't just complain - report using the contacts listed here.

Note: Contrary to popular belief it is not the responsibility of the Police to maintain the public highway so reporting a fault/spillage to them is unlikely to yield a result. Although a call to them after contacting the roads maintainers wouldn't do any harm.

What if you actually see diesel being spilt from a commercial vehicle?
